ABOUT MARINA

Marina Veruda, within short distance from the lively town and near the settlement, Pjescana uvala, with its 630 berths in the sea and 180 moorings on land, offers a myriad of complete service for navigators, ranging from the supply and gastronomy offer to various services, continuosly upgrading the list of services according to the wishes of our contemporary navigators. Tehnomont Marina Veruda has been awarded the “Blue Flag”, the international eco-label for the environmental protection. Even the Napoleon’s engineers with Beautemp-Beaupresom at the head, found out by drawing the coast and by measuring the water depth how favourable the position Marina Veruda has.

BERTHS

Marina Veruda streches along 1500 m and with its location offers a safe shelter from all winds. The row of 17 jetties is equipped with electricity (220 and 380 V) and water supply. The marina has a capacity of 630 berths for vessels up to 40m (mega-yachts also possible) with draught up to 4 m, and 250 berths ashore. The parking area has a capacity of 300 places. All the jetties have video surveillance and during the winter-time the gates on the jetties are being locked.

FACILITIES

Reception, exchange office, restaurant, toilets and showers, grocery shop, nautical gear shop, repair shop, 15 t crane, parking lot. The gas station is in the marina. The reception provides full service which includes: reception and registration of the guests, reservations, payment of berthing fees, receiving nautical and service working orders, bureau de change, the use of the telephone, fax and photo-copier and giving all information about your stay in and out of the marina. Marina’s goal is to maintain its prestige by continuosly upgrading the quality of its services which in turn will secure an admirable rating among high-ranked marinas. You can freshen-up on the terrace Volaria which lies like a boat on the sea. The gastronomic service is provided by the renowned restaurant Vela Nera and bistro-pizzeria Volaria, both specialised in preparing fish dishes and seafood specialities as well as dishes from the international and original local cuisine. The terrace Volaria is a novelty for the marina Veruda’s visitors. Built in 2004 on the oldest dock in the marina, it’s a place where you can have a fresh drink while enjoying the summer breeze and a wonderful view. In the marina you can find 4 separate groups of sanitary facilities, all meeting high standards. They are located in a manner that they offer a quality service regardless of the pier number your vessel is located on. In the case that you have a chemical toilet on board, you can empty it in our chemical toilet service which is placed in the back of the central sanitary facility. Every other way of chemical toilet emptying is strictly forbidden in the marina area. In the central sanitary facility area you can also find our laundry service. Our friendly and capable staff is on your disposal for all washing, drying and ironing services.

CONNECTIONS

It is next to Pula Airport (5 km). There are regular bus and rail lines that connect Pula with all Croatian towns. Distances: Trieste – 120 km, Milan – 520 km, Graz – 430 km, Vienna – 610 km, Munich – 630 km.

NAUTICAL SERVICE

Nautical service includes: boat lifting and launching, boat hull washing, antifouling coatings for hull protection, hull polishing as well as deck, mast and sail repairs. The marina has two cranes, one lifting up to 10 tons and the new crane that is able to lift up to 30 tons. The appointment for boat lifting and launching should be made at least a week in advance with the head of the nautical service.
