ACI Marina Zut

POSITION

ACI marina Žut lies in the Podražanj Cove which is part of the long Žut inlet on the northeastern coast of the island of Žut. The ACI flag is visible on Cape Ražanj. During strong bora anchorage in the northern part of the marina pier is recommended, while during strong southern winds it is safer to use the southern part of the pier.

BERTHS

The marina has 113 berths. Vessels with draft over 3 m anchor at the southern part of the pier or at the end of the northern pier. Berths have water and power supply. Water and power supply for vessel’s purposes are limited. Emergency water supply: 08:00-10:00; power supply: 08:00-12:00 and 18:00-24:00.

FACILITIES

Reception, exchange office, restaurant, telephone, toilets and showers, grocery store. The nearest gas station is in Zaglav on the island of Dugi otok (8 NM).

APPROACH

The island of Žut together with its marina is part of the Žut-Sit group of islands, situated in the northeastern part of the Kornati Islands. When approaching from the west (from Kornati National Park) the shortest way to reach Žut is through Proversa vela or Proversa mala passage. During night approach through Proversa mala passage is safer, since the passage is well lighted. If approaching from the direction of Zadar the course leads through Mali Ždrelac passage (bridge height 12,5 m). At the entrance to Žut inlet where ACI marina Žut is situated there is Maslinjak Island. The latitude and longitude of the northern cape of Maslinjak Island are 43°53,2’ N 15°18,8’ E.
