POSITION

In the port of the City of Mali Lošinj , located on the coordinates 44 32.0’N 14 18.0’E the Y/C company Marina d.o.o. is situated, to render nautical and tourist services. It is open for public with all the necessary concessions issued by the county port administration Mali Lošinj.
In the very center of the Northern Adriatic, on the eternally green island of Lošinj, is the City of Mali Lošinj. Located in the naturally protected island gulf the city is, together with the island numerous bays and boat harbors, easily accessible for all lovers of the nautical tourism and sea sailing. Mali Lošinj has been mentioned already at the end of the 14th century, to become, soon thereafter, one of the more important naval location at the Eastern Adriatic coast. The importance of this maritime city reached its peak level at the end of the 19th century, when it was considered as a large and most important location. At present, Mali Lošinj is considered as the largest settlement on the Adriatic islands.

BERTHS

The port of Mali Lošinj is at the disposal for a year-around reception of ships and yachts, equipped with the modernized pontoon berth, additionally protected, since the year 2006, with an existing floating jetty. The port offers berth services for 110 vessels up to 30 m length. The reception and berth services are rendered in the remaining part of the port, foreseen for larger ships and mega-yachts and for regular ship lines, as well.

FACILITIES

Facilities include a reception office, water and electricity hook ups, showers and toilets, a restaurant, café/bar, laundry, minimarket, fuel and a charter fleet.

CONNECTIONS

Arrival by Sea, by Land or by Air
The island of Lošinj is connected to the land through two crossings with numerous ferries sailing the regular lines: Valbiska – Merag on the island of Krk and Porozina – Brestova from the Rijeka direction where during the summer season a special night line is introduced (link for Jadrolinija, autotrans). Besides the land connections, the island is also connected, with numerous ferries, to other Croatian islands as well as with the neighbouring Italy by speedy catamarans and hydrogliders (Jadrolinija, Snav). For those who come from farther away, the island has also an airport, in only 6 km distance from the city, often used by the visitors of our island (aerodrom ML, Croatia).

Sea passageways
The island of Lošinj has two naval passageways at the nautical experts’ disposal: the naval passageway Privlaka, open for the passage of ships every day at 9.00 and 18.00 o’clock and the passageway in Osor, connecting the islands Cres and Lošinj, opened every day at 9.00 and 17.00 hrs.

APPROACH

Mali Losinj is usually approached by passing between the islands of Murtar and Zabodarski and then passing between Torunza and Kriz points. It is also possible to enter the harbor by passing through the artificial canal Prolaz Privlaka (3m deep and 6m wide) when the bridge opens at 09:00 and 18:00.
